Welcome to Burn and Shine!

This is my way of sharing playlists with you. I generally try to do at least one themed compilation per month, although some months I'm a little too busy and others I go a little comp-crazy (see January, February and September of 2010, for instance). Since I'm still clinging to the Twentieth Century, all of my compilations will fit on an 80-minute CDR, so that, if you like, you can burn it onto a disc and listen to it the old-fashioned way. I'm a slave to iTunes, so m4a is my format of choice, but I will use mp3's on occasion. If you stumble upon a dead link, please leave me a comment and I'll fix it. Thanks for stopping by!

R.I.P. Will Owsley.

Completely missed this over the weekend. Another sad loss, and Tennessean at that. He was one of the talents found on the Nash Pop Compilation I posted during Powere Pop Month. I Found this interview from 1996 posted on Youtube:
