April Showers.
Not sure why they chose "Rain Drops Keep Falling on My Head" by B.J. Thomas for that particular montage in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, but somehow it works! As for today's compilation, it's one that I made a couple of years ago. Some of you may already have it, but it is new to Burn and Shine. It actually is raining today here in Chattanooga, though I do believe it's the first shower we've had this April. Fine by me, because it seems like we had one of the wettest (and snowiest) winters that I can remember. Here's the playlist:

Man, there really are a lot of great songs about rain. My own recommendation: "I Wish it Would Rain" by the Temptations. Love that David Ruffin vocal.
Oh, and "Standing in the Rain" is a killer tune. Must revisit "Warehouse: Songs and Stories" in the near future.
Yeah, "Warehouse" seems to get a bad rap. I think it's great. Love that Temptations tune, look for it on Volume II!
